Welcome to 2017!

Hello and welcome to Room 5 for 2017!! How exciting! I hope that you are all enjoying your time with family , even if the weather hasn't been that great.
Even though school doesn't go back for a few more weeks I thought I would take the time to tell you all a little bit about myself and let you know a few bits and pieces.

I am a mum to 2 beautiful children aged 13 and 3. As a family we like to get out and about and explore the lovely walks in and around Te Aroha. I love reading, cooking, gardening and crossfit. I have been a part of the Junior School at Stanley Avenue for 3 years , where I have been the New Entrant teacher. If you new to Room 5, feel free to post a comment below and tell us about yourself!

Blogs & Facebook
As well as our class blog , there is also a school blog you can follow which is regularly updated on the happenings in other classes and school events. You can also find copies of newsletters, stationary lists, contact details and a lot more.Don't forget to sign up to receive alerts when we update our class blog too. Last year we also started up a school Facebook page, so next time you are on, search and follow it to keep up to date with events and goings on around school.

School App
Did you know that Stanley Ave has its own app?! It is very handy. You can receive notifications from your class , send in absentees, read notices, find out about events and get contact details for the school and other teachers. Even better is it's free to download and really easy to use!

Stationary Lists
Stationary lists have been handed out, but if you missed one or it got mixed up in the christmas wrapping paper and has gone missing - click on this link and it will take you to our stationary for the year - Room 5 Stationary list 2017     .
